This week I heavily worked on the AI and making sure to fix some of the issues mentioned during the Alpha playtest. First thing I fixed was how the zombies were not able to pass through the gate. To fix this issue, I gave the object a nav mesh agent obstacle which allowed the zombies to move from one area to the next. I also did this for all the platforms in the boss level. From there I begin animating the health kit and giving it a light source. I have been messing around trying to find the best possible look for the lighting and have two right now. They are a work in progress since I do not like how they look. Next, I worked on adding the animation to the Mutant and polishing it. I also gave it a mask to make sure that some parts will continue to animate if it gets hit. Came across a few issues but worked through them. Finally, I began working on the boss's logical when to attack, chase, or use his long range attack.
